We had an amazing weekend, although when we returned home the cistern was empty, the water pump failed, the air conditioner leaked all over Laurence's bureau, and tonight the generator battery died! Geez, we were only gone for 24 hours... What a weekend! We spent only about 6 hours at sea in the Canal de Saint Marc aboard "In God We Trust", the Haitian sailboat of Laurence's colleague Dennis. The boat was named by his Haitian captain and first mate who just grinned when I asked who named the boat. It's extremely funny... There's even a little #1 on the side.
